Mesa Verde

On Thursday we went Mesa Verde National Park. It was awesome. We spent a half a day there. I love exploring old things. The first ones we went to go see was called Cliff Palace. You had to go with a ranger on a guided tour. You climbed down steep stairs chipped into the sandstone and then you had to go up a few ladders to get to the ruins. The boys did not like the guided tour. They thought it was boring to have to stop and listen to someone talk. They did like the ruins. We went to another one where we didn't have a guide and they liked that better so they could look at things at their pace. We had lots of fun.
